Human Rights

The Human Rights Program is St. Stephen’s advocacy & community education program.

We offer:

  • Educational opportunities to increase public awareness of current issues and effective solutions.
  • Organizing activities to create broad coalitions that call to action government leaders, students, educators, and other community members.
  • Advocacy to support those who have experienced homelessness in speaking out and becoming community leaders.
     
A Day in the Life
A day-long experiential-learning program that offers students & community members a real-life glimpse into the lives & issues of those experiencing homelessness.  Please click here for brochure!

If you are homeless or formerly homeless and would like to participate in the activities of our Human Rights program, please call 612-870-2296 or stop by the Human Rights office at 330 East 22nd Street, Minneapolis, MN in the basement of St. Stephen's Community Center.
